Hairspray or something - help!

I visited my hairdresser last week and told him I wanted to grow my hair out. So, naturally, I walked out with it shorter than it's ever been Grin

As usual, my hairdresser was right and I do love this cut, but my hair has a tendency to never stay where it's put. When it was longer it would always go a bit rat-tail through the day and now it's short (roughly chin length and a sweepy-type fringe) it will edge towards the needs-a-brush kind of look by lunchtime.

I'd like something that will keep my hair in place, and keep it looking nicely styled and smooth after my efforts in the morning, but I'd still like it to move. Would a flexible hold hairspray be the answer or should I be looking for something else?

Does the product I want even exist? Help please!

Shameless bump.

Anyone?

Not be snarky but wouldn’t just giving it a quick brush in the loos be better? I keep a little brush in my bag and do mine once or twice throughout the day or else it looks ratty.

I suspect it's looking a bit crap well before lunchtime but that's usually the first I clap eyes on it since leaving the house. In reality, I'd probably have to be giving at a brush every 20mins or so. My job involves training and presenting so that's not really feasible and I just want something that will help me stay looking polished for longer.

John Frieda hairspray works well for me. But I would still brush it by lunchtime.

Ooh, the ice shine sounds interesting. My hair is very thin too
