Am I seeking the impossible?

Nice weather seems to be long gone and its suddenly coat-weather again. Except I don't own a coat.

Can anyone help me find something that doesnt make me look like an over-stuffed duvet and is also warm, with a hood and relatively water-resistand without being a hideous anorak?

Everything in the shops seems to be quilted (yuk) or blazer- shaped with one button in the middle which barely serves a purpose at all.

Im a size 16 apple, dark hair, pale skin. I like black and grey but wouldnt mind a nice jewel colour either.

Oh, not a huge budget. Would spend up to £100 for the right coat but less if possible

I have a Didriksons parka. Not overly padded, very warm, nice big hood, waterproof, decent length. The Scandis k is their stuff. You can buy last season's styles for about £80.
