Moda in Pelle ?

I've seen a bag online. I've never seen this brand in person and am wondering about the quality. Are the products reasonably well made?
(I'm not expecting finest Italian leather and craftmanship)

I’ve never heard of them but they look ok, I’ve bought several bags from her www.myexquisiteshop.com and several posters here have and they are good leather and delivery is pretty quick. I used code Vip15 recently but I don’t know if that’s still valid. They seem to have some similar bags.

They're similar in price point and quality to H&M. When I lived in Italy (roughly twelve years ago), they were one of my go-to stores since my measly EFL teacher wage couldn't stretch to much fine Italian craftsmanship.

It's been a long time now, so I guess things could have changed.

There used to be a shop in Newcastle about 15 years ago when I lived there. It was okay, but it has been a while.

They have a shop in my town but I haven’t bought anything for a while. I would say their shoes are reasonably good quality but I’ve never really looked at the bags. I’d say better than H&M personally.

They've been around for a long time! Always considered them on the more expensive side, but not sure on quality.

We have a shop in our town and in the city. I don't know about bags but the shoes are shite, specifically, made on crappy lasts so they're uncomfortable to the point of being unwearable in very short order. They have some nice styles, but I deliberately don't go in there now as I've never been happy with anything I've ever bought there.

They were popular a while back.. I once had a voucher for them and really struggled to find anything I liked.

I've had a couple of their sandals and they're good - they've both lasted well. Much better quality than H&M! More expensive too, but worth it IMO.

I ordered a pair of boots from them. The website said they were leather. They weren't. I kept them because I liked the style and they were on sale but I shouldn't have. They didn't last.

Not sure about the quality, they don’t give much away in the descriptions, I’d want more details about closures, linings etc.

I'm not going to hit the purchase button, goawayquickly has nailed my concerns re details.
I'm hopeless at returning things bought online that I don't like so will make an effort to actually leave the house to go on a bag shopping trip soon!

I have a bag from them which is perfectly nice but it said it was leather on the website and it's not.

They're a firm that started in Leeds, so a different company from the Italian firm. Two brothers started shoe shops, one is Daniel and the other is Moda in Pelle.

The quality is much, much better than H & M in my experience, however I have only bought shoes and none in the last couple of years.

I used to buy their shoes years ago. They all hurt like hell and we’re so uncomfortable, I did give them all away in the end. Lookgood and on the pricey said but doable, depending on shape of your feet Hmm.

It's off putting that people are saying they advertise things being leather that aren't. The very name means leather fashion/style.

Last time I bought from them online I received a pair of very obviously pre worn boots. Customer service were behind shit. Eventually offered 15% off my next purchase or boots returned at my own expense. I won’t buy from them again.

That’s terrible service, you sometimes see it in the high street too, clearly returned clothes hung straight back up. I’ve also bought from the company a pp linked too and they have really good customer service as well as good quality stuff. The Moda stuff does look a bit cheap IMO.

I'm really surprised at the bad experiences people have had. I have a couple of pairs of suede boots from there which I've worn a lot and are very comfortable. I also have a pair of sandals that I should never have bought because they're far too narrow for me but it was a moment of madness. They have a sort of metal disc detail and it's really good quality material and well made, a far cry from anything in H&M.

Their sales are usually quite decent, I wouldn't buy at full price.
