Alternatives to jeans?

What are the alternatives to jeans? I absolutely hate them and find them so uncomfortable. I wear normal black trousers for work but would like options for outside work. I've been living in a pair of loose trousers from Select similar to these:

They're not warm enough for the autumn / winter though and am at a loss as to what I can wear. Any help hugely appreciated.

Cord trousers are very warm.

I have a couple of pairs of jodhpurs I only wear when it's really cold, as they are so cosy - they are surprisingly flattering too.

Have you tried jeggings?
You can get some that look like jeans but are basically thick leggings, very comfortable!

I usually hate jeans but love Not Your Daughter's Jeans, the skinny ones and the boyfriend style are fab and extremely comfortable, much better than any other jeans I've ever tried.

Other than that I live in leather or faux leather leggings, the Spanx ones are my favorite, hands down the most comfortable trousers out there.

There are lots of cord trousers around this winter and most have some elastene in them for comfort. I also like stretch Chinos and Boden have some in the sale. M&S have lots of tie waist casual trousers. I’ve just ordered a check pair and a grey pair. Very comfortable and quite smart.

I love chinos, my favourites are from Asda believe it or not, I have a khaki pair that go with everything.

Also just acquired two pairs of wide leg cords from Brora and I think I'll be wearing them to death all winter, they are incredibly comfortable.

These are the Brora cords I have, in both of these colours (out of stock in any size except 18 unfortunately). I think they have a variation of these every year.
