Pinafores and tights... but!

What shoes?!

I would love to wear a long sleeve t shirt with a cord pinafore this autumn.

I would love to wear it with tights but no idea what shoes?

I'm not the slimmest of girls, size 12 and 5'2. I feel ankle boots don't flatter my legs!

Any ideas? Or pictures?

I also love the idea of yellow tights!! Is that too much?!

Some brogues or loafers would have a nice preppy look. Or some dark coloured Converse.

Yellow tights risk being a bit kids TV, but depends on the outfit as a whole I guess.

Would you do high converse? I think I worry about my legs looking stumpy hah.

Maybe I'll purchase some loafers!

If you want some brogues that aren't too expensive, Clarks have some nice-looking leopard print ones which would be quite flattering and wouldn't look too twee. High tops would definitely make me look stumpy but low ones would be great.
