My mac hood blows off in the rain. It's useless. Ideas?

Do I need to buy a new raincoat? Is there a stylish way to wrap a scarf round to hold it on? What would a stylish hat option be for the autumn that goes with superga, nice trainers and ankle boots? Am I too old for a baseball cap?

You could try having it altered.

Bakerboy type hat.

It’s a simple sewing job to attach a small piece of Velcro to each side of the hood under your chin. When it rains just pull the hood up as normal and press the Velcro together to hold it snugly in place. A popper would also do the trick.

I’m not too old for a cap but I’m not particularly stylish either. I am trying though.
