Winter Boots

I'd appreciate some advice about where to look for a new pair of knee-high boots to see me through the months turning colder. They need to be smart enough for office wear, low heel, warm, waterproof and above all, comfortable. I don't want to spend more than £300 but could for exceptional quality. Any advice?

What style are you looking for?
Fairfax & Favor Spanish riding boots are gorgeous and good quality but are quite a "look"

F. Looking for some for smart. I’m getting Dubarrys for walks, but need some work ones too. Love those Fairfax & Favor ones!

Some nice ones in the Shoe Embassy.

I’ve had a pair from Clarks for years which have lasted - they’ve got gortex in so they’re proper waterproof.
They don’t seem to do them any more but these are quite similar: www.clarks.co.uk/c/Korik-Sky-GORE-TEX/p/26135692

Thanks for replies. I tried on a pair of du barrys but found them uncomfortable - they don't have many smart styles but I do like that classic
look. Fairfax and Favor look v v nice, thanks
for the suggestion - but is the price tag justifiable?
