Where to buy plus size (size 22) smart / colourful (not black) workwear and smart / comfortable flat shoes.

A lot of the dresses in plus / curve sizes seem to be really short or revealing on the chest. I like Boden, White Stuff (but they only go to a size 18) and Next. Lots of the colours are typical autumn colours (grey, black & mustard) which don’t suit me. Am I looking for the impossible??

I just bought some work stuff from M&S (also size 22). Also like some H&M + clothes.

I've been a fan of Tu in the past but now seems to have gone off.

I buy most of my work stuff from M & S or John Lewis. I find Yours clothing and Evans very cheap and nasty, doesn't wear well. Even Next has gone downmarket with quality but not their price.

Yes, I do keep seeing decent things online for M&S so I traveled to a larger city with a bigger M &S and the choice was really poor. Racks of the same thing but hardly any of the nice dresses I’d seen online. I just like to try things on due to being busty.

I came out of M&S yesterday, thoroughly pissed off. I hate hate hate Viscose with a vengeance. It makes me run with sweat despite supposedly being 'breatheable'.Nearly everything was viscose .

However, I had ordered two pairs of trousers from Peacocks - black ribbed trousers with a zip. £9.80 each! Bargain!

Thanks @Deathraystare. I often forget about Peacocks but they do have some gems.
