Smart petite work clothes

I will be starting a new job that requires a wardrobe overhaul. I live in jeans and Tshirts and this was fine for my previous jobs.

I LOVE the way Sarah Rafferty’s Suits character Donna dresses but I’m 5”0, and I know I’ll look like a child playing dress up.

I think my body is a strange shape and not in proportion. Flattish boobs, big belly, wide hips no bum so dresses can be difficult as the few I’ve tried from next are loose on top but okayish bottom.

I hate hate hate! shopping but can’t really do online as getting the correct size is an issue so please recommend about 2 (3 at a push) shops that does petite sizes. Ideally I don’t want to pay more than £30-40 per item. Thank you Smile

Banana Republic, GAP, Boden, River Island, Asos and M&S all do petite rangers. Hobbs does too now but it's not cheap.

@GlitteredAcorns thank you. I’ll try Gap & maybe River Island (I always think it’s too fashionable/young for me Grin ). I like M&S work clothes but the smallest sizes are too big for me. Online shopping is a no as the sizes never work.

Next, Dorothy Perkins and Debenhams all do petite stuff. Next is the best 'all rounder', DP is quite cheap and Debenhams can be a bit grumpy but is good for plain trousers or tops. If you are really tiny, Miss Selfridge does petite in very small sizes. Do you have the store Outlet? It usually has DP, Miss Selfridge, Topshop and Principles under one roof - they all do petite clothing.

@MadeinBelfast I forgot about Dorothy Perkins! I’m liking their range and Miss Selfridges just for their sizes. Thanks a lot
