I am so excited for autumn! Mainly because it’s my favourite season for clothes Grin

I love wearing dresses with tights and boots, but haven’t found any I like so far. Has anyone found anything lovely they would like to share?

I’ve seen some gorgeous wine vomit coloured in oasis. I haven’t had chance to try on yet.

PurpleDaisies · 31/08/2019 22:01

Wtf?!!! Where did “vomit” come from there? My phone clearly hates me.

gerritez · 31/08/2019 22:02

Grin wine vomit- interesting colour!!

I got this from White Stuff today - comfortable, pockets and looks well made. Love the neckline

I like this, but would like it a lot more if it wasn't polyester. If anyone spots one that isn't I'd be grateful.

I like that H&M dress Margarita, especially in zebra print.

I bought this Dorothy Perkins dress this week. I think it works well for Autumn while the weather's still quite warm. When it gets colder I'll wear it with boots and a leather jacket.

PurpleDaisies
I was trying to picture what colour wine vomit was too.
Glad it was just a typo Smile

Lidlfix · 01/09/2019 16:39

I just ordered this from H and M. DH and I off to Prague without the DC in October so I am hoping this will look good with my (total bargain) Fly Chelsea boots that I have just taken delivery of.

Thinkle · 02/09/2019 17:10

@Lidlfix I’ve just posted in another thread about a very similar H&M dress: m2.hm.com/m/en_gb/productpage.0808922002.html
I have the green version and am getting excited about wearing it with my new bargain ankle boots!!

Thinkle · 02/09/2019 17:15

@margaritasbythesea I tried on a black wrap dress in uniqlo earlier. Same overall shape but without the scoop back. It’s rayon though, not sure how that compares to polyester.

SleepyKat · 02/09/2019 17:21

I like the black M&S pin tuck one but imagine it will be a bugger to iron the pleats. @BarrenFieldofFucks does it look like the sort of dress which will crease easily?

I’ve ordered this wrap dress from next. www.next.co.uk/g2318s2

Have a graduation coming up and am hoping it will look ok under a gown.

margaritasbythesea · 02/09/2019 20:16

I like the look of the Next one SleepyKat and thanks for the ehads up Thinkle. I shall have a look.

I tried this Monsoon on today which was very flatting on a bust pear like me. I don't usually wear something with animals as they are everywhere but what do others thinnk?

BarrenFieldofFucks · 02/09/2019 21:08

I don't iron so I bloody hope not. 😂

Woodlandwitch · 02/09/2019 21:21

@Thinkle love the look ofthoss a line dresses from H&M - would they be flattering on a 5ft 4 size 14?

SleepyKat · 02/09/2019 21:43

@margaritasbythesea I like the Monsoon one.

Thinkle · 03/09/2019 07:29

@Woodlandwitch I thinks it’s one of those dresses that will suit people who like their legs and their neck/jaw/head and size is less of a question. It’s a very loose and flowy fit with big balloon sleeves so if you like the bits that are left on show them it’ll defo suit you.
I’m 5,6 with not much boob and it’s sits just above my knee cap so I’d imagine that 5,4 would hit the knee in the middle. You could defo size down though as it’s raglan sleeve cut with loads of room (arm pit nr my lower ribs if that makes sense).
I know some of the photos are belted but I can’t see how that would work, every time you put your arms up it’ll pull out of the belt.

Some lovely dresses from the Jigsaw outlet on eBay. I've ordered the grey one (and a fine knit sweater) waiting for them to arrive.
