I loved leg warmers as a teen. I'd have them pulled over my heel though and with trainers.

I used to wear skinny jeans , tucker boots and leg warmers in the late 80s , they were a thing .
Add in fingerless red gloves and a donkey jacket ......lush

Not really as cool as leg warmers were in the 80’s def more just the folded over cuff from sturdy walking socks.
Saw it on several different people in Germany on holiday this summer all shorts (not lederhosen) socktop things and fucking flip flops!!!
