What to do with £300-400?

I have a sum of money to spend on just me.

I suggested getting something for the family but it’s explicitly been said that it has to be just me. A frivolous purchase I would never normally get.

But I’m stuck.

I’ve a hand bag, a watch and I’m still not quite back down to my size 12’s yet so not really ready to buy expensive clothes

What would you do?

Jewelry. You can get Tiffany earrings for that price.

Or shoes :)

A gorgeous winter coat. Or a pair of good leather boots. Or both of those things :) roll on autumn :)

I'd buy shoes or boots. Or take DH out for a meal at our local Michelin starred restaurant.

You can't have too many Mulberry bags :) however I would save it until something I really wanted came along .

I’d get that Acne Studios jumper that Jo Whiley wore all summer.

I keep going onto Net a Porter to gaze at it.

I'd buy a Philips Lumea hair removal system (fingers crossed DH gets the hints I've been dropping for Christmas 😁)

There are so many things on my list....

Hmmm actually maybe I’d buy a Louis Vuitton key pouch and card wallet.

I'd buy some gold jewellery as all my jewellery is silver & I fancy some gold. Maybe Missoma.

Some more trainers eg the Dark red Vans that I want.

A black real leather biker jacket.

A cream Coach crossbody bag.

I've probably spent it all!

I'd spend some of it on getting my make up done professionally and buy some good makeup. I seem to use the same old makeup and don't know what suits me.

A beautiful good quality coat is a good suggestion. An investment piece.

Or spend it on a weekend away where you can treat yourself.

Save 100 for as soo as you get to size 12!!

Spend the rest on a coat..a good quality clasic coat will bring you years of happy wearing.

Yes I agree on the coat and if you’re fairly certain you’ll hit your desired weight soon, I’d buy now because there are some real bargains around. You could probably get a very good wool coat and a leather jacket if you scour the sales now (or save the money - if you’re confident you won’t fritter it away on other people - and wait til Black Friday and see what you can find).

I’d get my favourite perfume. And possibly my other favourite perfume. And new boots. Maybe some cashmere.

I did the facial thing wouldn’t recommend. I’d go for Botox instead if beauty stuff.

I’d have a weekend away with DH. But then the baby would have to come too and maybe that would make it a family thing?

I’d do an awesome leather jacket if you’re confident you’ll drop the weight and maintain.

Or art for the house. I have a few not expensive but wonderful to me bits and they give me great joy.

Leather jacket, Phillips lumea, expensive skincare and haircare products, Lipsy bras, Stan Smith trainers, Cath kidston handbag. (May have just been on quite a spendy shopping spree 😳)
