Bronzer, blusher, highlighter - what?

So I got a freebie makeup palette which I thought was eyeshadow. I didn’t really look closely until I picked it up tonight as saw it had eyeshadows (4) - also a bronzer, a blusher and highlighter (not one but 2 of them).

What - 4 shades of face? What’s that even for? Am I supposed to colour in bits here and these like a painting by numbers?

Yes, ideally in this modern world we would have faces the size of satellite dishes, all the better to fit the vast array of make up that is now on offer.

Either use the other bits as eyeshadows anyway or decide which one you want to do. So I never use blusher or bronzer but love highlighter, so I just use that on my cheekbones (nowhere else though, my nose and forehead get shiny enough without it!)

Sounds like young uns spend hours creating their faces!

I'm 38 and always wear bronzer, blusher and highlighter. In fact I have a drawer full of each kind ShockBlush

Was it the No.7 freebie?

Deathraystare · 29/08/2019 08:20

You certainly do not need to use it all if you don't want to!

The youngsters now all look identical! I used to spend ages on my face but now unless I am going out, then no.

It might be nice to use the highlighter on special occasions. Do you usually use blusher? Only bother with the bronzer if you want a 'sun kissed' look.

Have a look at some (age appropriate) you tube stuff for applying highlighter, blusher and bronzer and see if that is really 'you'

Yes it was a No7 freebie! I assumed it was a load of brown and peach coloured eyeshadow. I’ve seen women with stripes and dots on their faces which I refer to as a ‘selfie ready face’.

Ha! Yes I got that one too the other day but haven't had the chance to try it yet.
