Inspired by another thread elsewhere on here- I’ve often had disagreements with my family about the actual colour of my eyes. I know what I think they are, but what colour do you see? Brown or green or hazel? And for the style and beauty gurus, what eyeshadow do you recommend? Smile

I would say hazel. Have you had LVL lashes done?

PossiblyPFB · 28/08/2019 20:23

Nope, lashes all mine! Smile

I'd also say hazel!

Plump82 · 28/08/2019 20:29

My eyes are similar and id say hazel.
Any warm toned eyeshadows will look great but also purple tones.

PossiblyPFB · 28/08/2019 20:36

That’s good news! I typically choose a neutral or bronze palette, big fan of the Charlotte tilbury eye pencils in amber haze and smokey emerald. Haven’t experimented with purple. Despite my eye colour and dark lashes my hair is bizarrely quite fair so wouldn’t have thought to go with purple but might try it!

Hazel. If you use eye shadow in a slightly reddish tone (the kind they use t make you look ‘natural’ in photographs) it will bring out the green.

BogglesGoggles · 28/08/2019 20:39

This sort of colour

I love purple and it makes my eye looks much more green.

tierraJ · 28/08/2019 20:47

Try a gold shimmer eyeshadow

dementedma · 28/08/2019 20:48

Agree hazel. Mine are green and purplish eyeshadows really bring out the colour

I find these days, the darker my hair is, the greener my eyes look, and the lighter it is, the browner they look. Hence growing up with very blonde hair they looked very brown, so I always thought my eyes were brown. Then as an adult with natural darker blonde hair (about a level 7) they seemed to change colour completely, and I would now describe them as a clear forest green or hazel. My own nuclear family stand by that they’re just brown (though my mum (Irish/Scottish) has stunning emerald green eyes, dad (French/English) darker than mine hazel brown-green, and my sibling light green/grey/hazel). DH is red/green colourblind and so of no help and assumes they’re green as they look different to him. He can’t see them properly. Smile

Hazel. Lovely and so are your lashes! Lucky girl!!

inmyfeelings · 29/08/2019 08:54

Similar to mine and I either go for smoky brown/ black or bronze which is boring but works ! I had lilac on my wedding and that was also really nice .

And i think they're hazel, although one eye is greener than the other .

Vasulini14 · 29/08/2019 09:56

Try trax velvet by mac, would look amazing on you and will make the green in your eyes pop.

PossiblyPFB · 29/08/2019 15:19

....some great eyeshadow ideas, thank you! I’ve always pretty much gone with neutrals really!

I would say hazel. Would recommend warm golds - Mac have lovely shades. There's also a gorgeous Charlotte tilbury mini palette which is plum and gold shades - I think that would look fab on you.

I have total lash envy!

PossiblyPFB · 29/08/2019 16:09

I’ll have to look out for that! I love CT!

They are hazel. I am the same.
