Shampoo bar for fine hair

I'm trying to switch to shampoo bars in a bid to reduce plastic, but am really unimpressed with those I've tried so far. Lush has harsh chemicals in which gave me eczema and a bar I got from a local shop just seems to leave some sort of "claggy" film on my hair.

I have fine hair. Has anyone found anything they love?

I love the Ethique range, I think they're from New Zealand. They do a pink shampoo bar which smells great and I think is sold as their regular bar but gives my fine oily hair lots of volume and keeps it clean for longer than normal shampoo.

Article about them finally shipping to the UK here

I switched to shampoo bars and it took a couple of weeks for my hair to adjust. I use bank and savon ones.
Have you tried using a vinegar rinse. It stops the clagginess. Apparently it's worse in hard water areas.

Thank you both. I'll try that NZ range. We are in a really hard water area, so a vinegar rinse sounds like a great idea. How do I do this & what sort of vinegar? (Really hate the stuff in this family, so need to avoid the smell if poss!).

Re vinegar.
About 1 tsp per cup. Leave it on for about 30 mins. I do a couple of cups and then rub it through. Rinse off. It might smell a tiny bit vinegar until it dries and then no smell. I use a leave in conditioner on my ends (I can return the pot to be recycled) and my hair smells of this. I couldn't get on with a bar conditioner.
The vinegar makes my hair shiny and reduces need for conditioner anyway. It's meant to be for the scalp as well.

I'm exactly the same as @theworldisfullofgs. Took a while to adjust and now I use diluted apple cider in a spray bottle to spray my hair with and rinse out after shampooing. I didn't like Lush either but really get on with Friendly bars.

I use 3tbsp for 250ml of ACV with cooled boiled water. It will smell vinegary when wet but as soon as your hair is dry the smell vanishes, I promise!

I buy the Juliet Rose Shampoo and conditioner bars from Keep and Co they are lovely don’t buy directly from her site though . I mistakenly did so and her turn around dispatch time isn’t what she’s stated I’m still waiting for an order and she isn’t replying to messages.
