How can I fix my smile?

My teeth are naturally straight and quite nice, (my arches are on the narrow side though)

However you can’t bloody see my teeth as my top lip covers most/all of my top arch. I have looked like this my entire life, it’s not due to aging or filler etc. If I open my mouth in a relaxed position you can’t see my top teeth at all, just my tongue.

When I smile widely I just look awkward frankly. Only like 1-2mm of teeth show, this makes my teeth look short/non existent/not the same length. My gums would never be visible due to the overhang.

I don’t think braces or Invisalign would help, perhaps cosmetic surgery?

I thought that was seen as a positive thing. I have a really gummy smile and would love my lips to cover my teeth.

I know this is an old thread but you can get something called a lip lift which is surgery (so obviously needs to be given proper consideration) - they cut a sliver of skin out beneath your nose then move your lip up. Google bull horn lift. I saw a Youtube video that alleged that it can apparently leave bad scarring in younger people and is better for older skin and I'm not sure I'd be up for it myself but it's an option.
