What colour ankle boots would you wear with...

...dark blue jeans and a black top? Would you opt for black, to go with the top, or dark brown/taupe, so as not to be too matchy?!

I wear this combination a lot and think almost any boots would work, I have khaki hitops which are my current favourite.

Id go for tan myself. However I have loads of dark based ditsy dresses and can't figure out what boots to go with them.

Like a PP I fon't like brown ankle boots, I think they are very blah. Personally I'd wear black or alternatively very bright boots, red or mustard or a bright blue or those orange ones mentioned above.

Taupe (definitely not a red-toned brown, or too dark) or, given a free hand, leopard.
