Help with my crap nails!

After just reading the groomed thread I thought I might ask for some advice on keeping my nails looking nice,

They are soft and bend easily so all polish chips on me very easily 😢. Because they bend the also snap off so growing then to a decent length is difficult

I've tried Sally Hanson, OPI nail envy and nailtiques hardener and topcoats like essie, maybelline and seche vite to no avail....

Any help would be much appreciated

Fake ones, it's the only way to nail bliss

Yes, gel polish is the only way. I’ve tried hard (twice) this year to wean myself off it, within a week all the length has snapped off.
Gel polish is neat, lasts and looks good and you can maintain a good length.

Ibx. It’s an in salon nail repair treatment. It’s cured with uv light & pulls nails into a more attractive shape too.

You’d need to have it done regularly but it’s amazing stuff. Good housekeeping magazine did a write up on it.

You can’t see it when’s it’s on either.

L`occitane shea butter finally allowed me to grow strong nails. Keep the tube by the lappy which I use every night, work the stuff right into the cuticles. I only use varnish on high days and holidays.

I use coconut oil, rub it in at night so it has the whole night to soak in before it gets washed off. It's what works best on my nails but they are generally rubbish and nothing but shellac ever lasts on them. I've not tried gel, expect that would too but I can't afford to have them done often.
