Jeans for wobbly middle

I’m a bit bigger round the middle since pregnancy, maybe a size up, and want some new jeans that will be flattering and comfy.

DP Eden jeggings are ok but I’d like something a bit more like a jean. I do like the comfy top though.

I bought some skinny jeans from gap the other day and they were ok. I’m usually a size 8 and sized up to a size 28. They felt perfect but fall down a bit when I’m walk around a bit. I suspect a 27 might be a bit tight.

I suppose I want a skinny jean that will hold me in and not give me a muffin top.

Went shopping at York Outlet today and bought some jeggings in M&S for £9.50. They are the kind with a waistband rather than buttons so quite comfy and a bargain. I also bought some more of the high waisted skinny ones from gap, actually the same as the ones I bought last week but a size smaller. I’m somewhere between the two! They were both quite cheap though so I’m still looking and will try some of the ones recommended. I prefer to be able to try on in person unless quite sure I’ll like them if ordering online

Not sure if I said above but googling last night I saw Spanx do jeans!

I have the 'apron' type overhang and spare tyre so find it hard to get the balance of being tight enough to hold it all in and not so tight as to just give me a higher-up muffin top! Very difficult to dress to disguise this kind of shape, isnt it.

I got a pair of jeans in the John Lewis sale yesterday. They were by NYDJ Curve, reduced from £150 to £44. I wouldn't ordinarily spend that much on jeans but they were comfy and seemed just right around my belly area. Hopefully they will serve me well.
