Does anyone else find Liz Earle skincare addictive, especially the cleanser?

Whenever I move over to something else my face never feels as fresh and I end up going back to LE.

The eyebright lotion is pretty much all witch hazel, very over priced for what it is.

I'm surprised at the comments about Liz Earle not being good for skin and Liz herself has eczema and uses it.

How do you know she uses it city Smile
She doesn’t even own it anymore!

MrsPellegrinoPetrichor · 26/08/2019 18:55

I would say I use it too if I was flogging the stuff Grin

She used to own it and she has said herself on the telly and in books that she has eczema and that's why she created it to help other people with the same complaint. I have eczema too and find it refreshing. When I go back to more plainer cleansers my skin never feels as fresh.

I’m surprised someone with eczema would want essential oils on their skin!
They only hinder healing.
No, its just a brand like any other in my opinion. Hype and fluff!
However, if *you like it ... that’s all that matters! 🙂

And l hope that didn’t look snarky ~ l genuinely believe you should enjoy what makes you happy!

I used to love it before she sold the company but they definitely changed the formula and it’s not been the same since.
Used to buy it from her little shop on the IOW.
Haven’t been back to it since, it made my face red and itchy.
Was a shame as I loved it for years, as well as the brightening mask.

It smells terrible and made my face itch. I got it as a present from my dsis and I had to pretend I liked it. Blush

I switched to Superdrug Vitamin E version and I have to say, I find it just as good as Liz Earle for a fraction of the price.

I bought the instant boost tonic and it made my skin sore, I gave it away. Although I also bought the Drunk Elephant cleanser the other week and had to stop using it as my skin wasn’t happy so I’m probably not the best case study to go by! Everything makes me sore!
I only use Pai stuff really now as it’s the only cleanser I don’t react to as I’ve got closer to 40.
