So ... I need help ...

Measured ... 32 under bust ... 40 across bust standing ... 42 bending ...

What size ... tried 34 e .. 34 f ... all to small on cup ... 32 feels suffocating ... but currently wearing a 38d ( sister size) which is as uncomfortable...

I need help

32GG using 42 bending measurement

dementedpixie · 23/08/2019 20:39

Sister size would be 34G

Just go to Rigby and Peller! Amazing fitting and fit

dementedpixie · 23/08/2019 21:01

And expensive!

dementedpixie · 23/08/2019 21:03

Plus there may not be one anywhere near the OP

Did you use the Booborbust site to measure yourself? That suggests a size based on the measurements you input.
It’s really easy to use and very very good.

Yes the bras are expensive at R&P. But the whole experience changed my life! They didn’t even measure me, they just knew my size from looking, which I guess is their trademark. I bought one bra then went to far cheaper places for other bras.. but in the knowledge I had the correct size.
Just an idea...

There arent any in Scotland either. Are Bravissimo supposed to be good too?

stucknoue · 23/08/2019 22:47

Bravissimo are good, certainly the best on the (ordinary) high street

Consider shape as well
I don’t suit balcony or full cup styles as wires dig in between my boobs and balcony styles flatten me
I’ve got a short torso even for my height (5’4”) and plunge bras are best

I had my post baby fitting in Boux Avenue and they were fantastic.

The band is supposed to be very tight, all the support should be coming from there not the straps. That’s why you should be on the furthest hooks when you first get a bra and as it stretches out you can tighten it and it lasts longer.

I’m 34 and finally have bra’s that fit, it’s a revelation!
