Interview outfit help - it’s going to be 23 degrees, first job post university

Any suggestions welcome, dd and I are going shopping for something suitable for an admin job. She was thinking cigarette trousers, smart flat black boots and top of some kind. The weather forecast is showing very hot on the interview day so not sure about that or whether it’s completely the wrong idea anyway. She’s asked me to help, I have no idea what people wear in offices these days. Thanks

Sounds good, but I'd avoid boots if it's going to be that warm. Perhaps some flat loafers instead?

Why would she wear boots in August? Some smart flats would be fine.
