Help! October wedding - do I have to wear autumnal colours? I've seen this dress which I love but it's sunglasses bright 😎 Also is it just too much for a wedding? You can't miss the yellow!

I think it is too bright, you’ll leap out in all the photos. My aunt wore bright orange to my wedding and she stuck out like a sore thumb

I prefer the yellow dress but the flower one is nice too - bit more formal. I still think the yellow one is fine for a wedding at a boutique hotel. It's a wedding! Bright colours are fine!!

That yellow dress is beautiful. If it makes any difference, I'm getting married in October (in a boutique type hotel - are you one of my guests? ) and it wouldn't bother me a jot if someone turned up in a bright yellow dress. As long as it's not white then you're good to go imo.

Definitely do the yellow. I would. If you're worried about the photos, you could always get a cropped jacket to go over the top as it's October. Something like this: (there are nicer ones out there, but also some very granny-like styles, something with angles looks sharper and more modern)

If you're going to be in all the family/bridal party type photos, then maybe not but I really can't see an issue if you are just a guest?! How many pics do you expect to be in?

What would you wear over it? October will be chilly.

The floral one isn’t my taste at all and with the shoulder ties you would have trouble getting something to wear over it?

I'm off to a boutique wedding in Oct... I absolutely love the yellow. Love love love it. The floral is gorgeous too but the yellow is gorgeous. Like previous posters said, tone it down with navy accessories, wee jacket for the service.
I'm torn between bright blue or burnt orange myself 😂
