Can someone explain exactly what this power is in very basic language!

I don't understand powders anymore it seems. I have freckles but also broken veins so have to find a balance of a little coverage (usually complexion rescue) but also then I get overly shiny on my nose and forehead. I like to use a very Light bronzer And a bit of blush. So I don't really need colour from the powder but worry it's too white?

I'm not in BP but thinking about it for a couple of things.

Ok so I've discovered Nadine Baggot and think I understand now!

I've got it. It's not part of my (very limited) everyday makeup routine, but I like it over tinted moisturiser, blush, highlighter etc when I want to look a bit more polished. It's not white on my skin, just translucent, but it does make makeup last longer and seems to 'set' things and prevent shine coming through. I just apply it with a big, soft brush over the top of everything and it seems to do the job. Great for on the go touch ups too.

I use it all the time, often as the only cosmetic except mascara, and it is very subtle but blurs the flaws. It's translucent/invisible on.

Ok thanks, I think I got a similar thing by bare minerals in a sale (two powders; a matte white thing and a really subtle highlighter which I like.) I found that is good for shine but doesn't last long at all. And slightly white.

Hmmm pondering a brief membership...

It's arrived and it's brilliant! I hadn't realised it's ever so very slightly reflecting; the bare minerals version isn't and is too matt so this is great!
