Anyone fancy finding me a dress?

I have two weddings (separate groups of people so no overlap, horray!) in September. I also have a big work function - think formal drinks reception - which I am running as the marketing lead for my company. Guests will be wearing a mix of professional stuff and cocktail dresses with jackets from past experience. I am optimistically hoping to find a dress that will work for all three events - something that I could pop a suit jacket over for the work event and maybe a wrap for the wedding if needed. As I'm one of the 'faces' of the work event I don't mind being a tad more dressed up than the other guests.

I'm 5'6, size 14, 30 years old. Hourglass figure-ish: big boobs (34E), small waist, medium hips and tummy. Not a huge fan of anything too clingy and anything requiring no bra is a serious challenge!

Tend to dress in vaguely vintagey/retro stuff with a mix of Oliver Bonas/Joy/random John Lewis/H&M/Topshop/ASOS on the weekend and the odd Jigsaw/Hobbs/Whistles dress for when I'm dressing up at work. Prefer jewel colours and darker shades to pastels - I've got pale skin with brown/auburn shoulder length hair.

I'm beginning to get a bit exhausted looking, so if anyone has any suggestions I'd be very interested! Budget-wise I'm happy to go up to £150 but obviously cheaper is better....

How about this www.thehouseoffoxy.com/product/1950s-wrap-circle-dress-racing-green (you might prefer this colour www.thehouseoffoxy.com/product/1950s-wrap-circle-dress-berry). It's pricey but within budget and a great cut.

@Ricekrispie22 ooh, really like that first one - had forgotten about Monsoon, might have to dive into one and try that on. Great shout. Not such a fan of the second one just on the basis of the print but that's just me, it's a great dress.

@MmeBufo Ah, I went through a big Lindybop phase a while back and had a few of those sort of style dresses! I think I've gone slightly off them (my style's developed more into 'nod to vintage' than 'full on vintage styling') but will have a browse through that site too!

Yy, I agree, the full on vintage styling is best avoided. The dress is actually pretty plain and simple, also much, much better quality than lindybop. IME it works well work styled with 'normal' stuff, looks like barely a nod to vintage that way.

I love this dress but I’m 6’ and they don’t do tall so when I tried it the waist was (as it always is..) several inches above my waist. Lovely though & would look fab on someone shorter as well as being very versatile;
