Pleated skirts for work

Would you wear a shiny skirt to work or stick to a plainer one?

What do you mean by shiny? I often wear pleated skirts to work, some have a sheen to them, some more matt but both work.

I can’t seem to post any images I had found as examples, but if you look up ‘Pleated skirt outfit work’ on Pinterest, there are loads of ideas to try to recreate.

Will do! I just didn't know if the glossy skirts looked a bit too glammy! Maybe it's just me and I should glam up!

Satin skirts are everywhere at the moment so you'd probably not be the only one. I personally wouldn't wear a satin skirt but only because I think I'm likely to stain/snag it. There's loads of nice satin pleated skirts on H&M at the moment, both plain and patterned and I reckon any of those would be acceptable in my office.

I love a pleated skirt for work. With a nice plait t shirt. Really comfy but smart too.

I wear pleated skirts to work all the time. Not satin ones as my work is pretty formal, but for certain workplaces I don’t think that would be an issue.
