Autumn Boots

I’m looking for some flat boots, Chelsea style which are not too high on the ankle, and slim fitting as I have very slim feet and ankles. Look like Olive Oil if I have wide boots on.

Would also like some flat knee high boots, also slim fit all the way up.

Budget up to £200 for each pair, in black. Any suggestions?

Dr martens flora?

I’d not considered DMs. Wore them when I was a teenager (LONG time ago!) Do they still take ages to break in??

I have DM's and love them, they go with everything and will last for ages. I got mine in March. I wore the blister plasters on the back of my heels with thick socks and out wonder balm on for about 3 weeks until they softened up.

The Pascal style are good for narrow feet.

Thanks, great tips for the wearing in stage. Will definitely investigate DMs. I used to love mine, was a total grunger in my DMs, mini skirt and band t-shirts.

Have a look at Ten Points boots @ItsLeviOsanotLeviosA I've got some Chelsea boots from them and they're well made, light and comfortable. Mine aren't too chunky, but they do various styles.

Love a boot thread, I spend months looking for boots as I have wide feet and thin legs..Hmm looking forward to seeing more replies!!

StewedFruit · 23/08/2019 09:03

@Ellapaella please can you tell me what size DMs you have and how tall you are? Yours look quite neat in a DM kind of way! I'm 5'10 and have got size 7, they feel a little loose on and worried they look really clumpy...

Chelsea - wills-vegan-shoes.com/womens-vegan-smart-chelsea-boots-black.html

Knee high boots - wills-vegan-shoes.com/womens-vegan-riding-boots-black.html

I have a few pairs of boots from this company - well fitted and comfortable

Ellapaella · 23/08/2019 09:20

@StewedFruit I am 5'7 and a size 7, mine are the original style.

Ellapaella · 23/08/2019 09:21

@StewedFruit if they feel a bit loose I'd size down or go for the Pascal style which are narrower. I think DM's do a half size although not certain.

StewedFruit · 23/08/2019 11:26

@Ellapaella thanks, I've ordered a 6 to compare. I tried the Pascal last year but didn't like them as much as the originals

ItsLeviOsanotLeviosA · 27/08/2019 06:33

I tried the Pascals on over the weekend but they didn’t suit me at all unfortunately. I think I prefer a Chelsea style boot, with a pointy rather than round toe I think, any suggestions on these?

Deedeegil · 28/08/2019 10:26

Hi please let us all know how they fit and how you get on with them I'm looking for a pair of boots to go with my long maxi dresses innthe wintwr or my midis dresses or short dresses like you see other people with this type of look and boots I have some ugg leather boots and no way do they look good with skirts etc for winter :(

ItsLeviOsanotLeviosA · 28/08/2019 13:31

I will do, I’m excited to have found something that looks to fit the criteria as I normally end up compromising.

Oh I can imagine . It's a nightmare isn't it .
Well I hope these fit you well Hun x

Just an update as I’ve finally managed to find the time to try the boots on, typical given the weather is apparently warming up again next week.

They’re lovely! I need to get used to the pointed toe, as I rarely wear such a ‘long’ toe! I only have size 6 feet but feel like my feet are enormous. When I look objectively I can see they look stylish and so I’m keeping them and very happy.
