I want to grow my hair back to its natural colour so I can perhaps have it highlighted etc, but I don't want to put another box dye on it (been doing so for 10 years!). It is naturally a mousy brown/blonde highlighted in the summer... The box dye has faded but is was a burgundy-brown type colour.
I've taken pictures from the top so you can see my roots. I am wondering what to ask the hair dresser for in order to grow this out in a way that won't look awful? Any ideas? Should I get them to do an all-over colour in a lighter shade or just get full-head highlights... Balayage? I'm lost!
I have light blue eyes if that matters.
