Are sarongs still fashionable?

Going abroad next summer for first time in 14 years!! Have hung onto 2 sarongs but not sure if they're still in fashion? I've bought a kaftan thing that I love but don't want to spend loads on beach cover ups.
What do you wear around the pool?

I wear sarongs but I rarely see anyone else wearing them! They are perfect for me so I don't care if they are fashionable!

Not sure that they were ever fashionable tbh.

Most shops are full of inexpensive cover-ups like this one that I have

*I realise this one is expensive, but I've worn and washed it at least 30 times and it's like new.

You can be a fashion leader, or a fashion follower. Be a leader & wear WTF you like "in fashion" or not.

& I say that as someone who made a career out of fashion. It's all bollocks 😊

Kaftans have been more fashionable for the last few years, but I don’t particularly like having my arms and shoulders covered in the heat so I stick to beach dresses and sarongs. Comfort is more important than fashion on the beach imo.
