White trainers

I’m trying to find a pair of white (or could light grey work?) trainers that I can wear with dresses (short or midi length), with bare legs or as it comes to winter, with leggings or black tights.
Struggling as I tend to wear boots rather than trainers and feel everything looks weird on me, but I love the look of trainers/dresses on others.
Budget is up to £50-60. Any ideas?

I have just bought a pair of adidas stan smith originals and they are fabulous.

I like my Stan Smiths a lot but wouldn't wear them with black tights. Would wear with fishnets though.

I have little feet, so the kid ones were only £45 or so.

Is black tights & is white trainers a thing!? I wear white trainers with skirts/dresses/turned up jeans in spring/summer but pack them away in autumn/winter & tend to wear either hi-tops or black boots. I’d love to make them work all year round though - any pics of the look you’re thinking of?

My current favourites are Adidas forest hills, I also wear some white leather converse, Nike internationalists and I’m thinking about other Nikes (Air Force 1 maybe). My biggest mistake purchase were some Ugg trainers - I love their flip flops and sandals but the trainers are just a weird fit!

I wouldn't wear white trainers with tights.

With bare legs, yes. Stan Smiths all the way.

I have these and absolutely love them, they go with loads of things and they are quite delicate looking so can be worn with lightweight summer dresses and everything else really.

Yeah potentially white trainers and black tights are not a thing! Brain doesn’t work.

With black tights you could do black trainers? I mostly wear Chelsea boots when I have to wear tights (stay out of them as long as poss because I hate them - do cut-off leggings under long skirts & dresses until proper winter sets in!).
