I've taken to living in flip flops or plimsoles and really need an update to my footwear for winter. As much as I'd love to wear converse with everything all winter I'm trying to update my wardrobe to be a bit less sloppy.
I've been thinking high waisted funky pencil skirts with tights and flat shoes or more often my uniform is skinny jeans and a nice jumper.
I'm 5'9" so prefer flats and have been looking at a few ballet style flats with ankle straps but apart from that I'm stuck.
I'm also a size 7/8, converse are a size 7 and everywhere else very much depends.
Looking for some advice from people much more fashion concious than me 
links are much appreciated if you have them and budget is under £40 a pair.
