Summer holidays has turned me into a slob!

Kids off school, routine out the window and the excuse of ‘summer holidays’ to drink gallons of wine and eat junk food all the time...and not prioritising exercise... after 4 weeks of this I’m a wreck Confused

I started on Saturday and am doing 2 weeks of 16:8, low carb, no booze, one coffee only per day and running at least 4 times a week to get back on track. I feel so much better already. Why have I done this to myself? (again?!)

I normally manage quite a reasonable healthy life but the school holidays come and it all goes to pot! Maybe it’s like an extreme version of feeling you deserve Friday eve wine and takeaway after a long week... but after a whole term the binge lasts a month Shock tell me I’m not the only one?!

You’re not the only one Blush I’ve let everything slide, don’t think I’ve really done my hair properly for 4 weeks it’s been shoved in a messy bun (it’s washed and dried every day I’m not dirty Grin )

Got to get myself back into a routine!

my hair is ok but my eyebrows are ghastly I really must get them threaded in my lunch break one day this week... my nails and toenails need repainting and my skin is horrible from the crap diet and booze... I should do a face pack but I’m scared it will break out even more spots Confused

Totally agree with you and actionpacked.
Nice to have the break but also feels great when you get back in your good habits.
