Kids off school, routine out the window and the excuse of ‘summer holidays’ to drink gallons of wine and eat junk food all the time...and not prioritising exercise... after 4 weeks of this I’m a wreck 
I started on Saturday and am doing 2 weeks of 16:8, low carb, no booze, one coffee only per day and running at least 4 times a week to get back on track. I feel so much better already. Why have I done this to myself? (again?!)
I normally manage quite a reasonable healthy life but the school holidays come and it all goes to pot! Maybe it’s like an extreme version of feeling you deserve Friday eve wine and takeaway after a long week... but after a whole term the binge lasts a month
