Mother of the Groom help

I know this is a hardy perennial of a subject. But help! i don't want a pencil style dress, which seems to be the norm for mother of the bride/groom frocks. I have recently lost two stone and have regained a little of my slim hourglass silhouette. I'm also quite tall . Is this dress too plain for a winter wedding (reg office and posh pub reception). I'm doubting option I see. I'd like my arms and knees covered, not because they're awful. I'm just more comfortable if they are!

Honestly I think a fascinator would kill it. It’s so beautiful in its own right, it doesn’t need anything else. If it were me I’d just have a great blow dry.

Please not a fascinator. They would lower the dress rather.

Oooo it’s been a while since I went to a wedding. Are fascinators not good then? I must admit I had just assumed I needed something on my head!

Possibly go for some flowers in your hair, pink perhaps rather than a fascinator?

Good blow dry and cool earrings. Anything more will look busy and detract from that gorgeous dress.
