best hair styling lotion for pixie cut

I had my hair all chopped off at the weekend and now have a pixie cut. My hair is naturally thin and flat so I think I'll need something to give it some boost after washing.

Hairdresser definitely used a spray; I didn't bother asking what it was as I know it would be £££££ Grin

can anyone recommend a product please?

Ooh I had all mine chopped off into a pixie last week too. My hairdresser used a sculpting clay - dd64 - which I bought for £18 (!). You only need a tiny bit so I'll see how long it lasts before deciding whether to rebuy or look for something cheaper. I love my new hair!

I like L'oreal Dust

Great minds think alike cloverisover!

I’ve got sculpting products (DH and DS have lots) but I was after something to put on before drying.

Is the l’oreal Dust precstyling squeakyboy?

I have got tigi bed head which I use before drying
Also a sculpting putty thing that I love called control freak by mode affinage.(I use on dry hair after a blow)
Both smell delish and were used at hairdresser.

The dust is post styling. It's fantastic for creating texture - stops hair looking flat.

I went to my local Boots today but left with nothing! I couldn’t find either the Dust or the Bed Head products.
It was a maze of heat protection products and beach hair products!
Sad

I got the dust from my hairdresser but I think you can buy it online.

Thanks squeakyboy, I’ll do a search.

I use sea salt spray before I blow dry or to re invigorate on day two. I use L’Oreal de-polish (paste) to style (add texture) after drying. Both from hairdressers and I’ve never found shop bought stuff as good.
