What is the occasion? What is the budget?

I love the dress but it has quite a lot going on so I'd keep it simple.

Biker jacket if you needed an outer layer

It's for a party, nothing formal. I have a similar jacket and bangles. I love those ankle boots! I'm going to pop into JL and look at that necklace and see if they have the boots. The necklace chain needs to be quite short as the crossover on the dress is slightly higher up on me. Thank you, I didn't consider boots!

No necklace. A few thin bangles and some thin family earrings.

I have this dress in navy, it is so flattering. I wear black shoe boots and big earrings rather than a necklace.

It is really flattering! I was actually in the shop buying t-shirts for my husband, I generally never look at the women's section but I saw it online before I went shopping and thought I'd try it on. Bought it there and then. Going to have a rake through my boots today to see what I have and have a much needed clear out at the same time!

I would also ditch the necklace idea and go for statement silver coloured earrings.
