DD(9) is starting to show signs of puberty and now has blackheads on her nose. Does anyone have any recommendations for a face cleanser I could get for her? I don't think she needs the full teenager acne ranges but something gentler would be helpful.

Ds who is 12 plays the violin a lot and has started to get Zits where his chin meets his chin rest (I’m sure yehudi had the same problem). I’ve found that any wash containing salicylic acid helps. Clearasil, neutrogena. They don’t seem to have dried his skin at all.

My DS started getting blackheads on his nose recently (he's 11) and he uses the teenage nip&fab nighttime pads before bed which do the trick.

Thanks, really helpful. Reassuring to hear that these products aren't too strong having read some reviews that indicated otherwise

Watching with interest as my DS has terrible blackheads on his nose.

DD found this range really effective but gentle and natural.

DD1 (11) is using the face wash from Spots & Stripes and it's got rid of the occasional spot she was having. Nice and gentle, on the pricey side but I'm impressed so far.
