I can't decide. Am after some brogues for new job come autumn.

I like the thick soles but not so keen on the two different materials.

I’ve seen some similar in Hotter but because of the two materials I’m leaning towards getting the tan ones.

Oh yes I like them, and I agree - the two textures add some interest.

MoltonSilver · 15/08/2019 09:51

I like them.

wellhonestly · 15/08/2019 13:13

I like the textures and I love the soles ... however I don’t like such pointy toes on shoes, they hurt my feet.

0pheIiaBaIIs · 15/08/2019 17:25

Love them! I'm currently obsessed with the new leopard print Hamble Oak brogues from Clarks, I might succumb this weekend.

Choclips · 15/08/2019 17:32

So that you get a varied response, I'm going to have to say no. They scream boring Clarks.

I'll run now. Fast.

MarieIVanArkleStinks · 15/08/2019 17:33

They're fine. But I'm a Dr Martens devotee so it's for you to decide whether or not to listen to me!

RidgedPerfection · 15/08/2019 19:07

I have the same pair of shoes, I love them!

moonpiggle · 15/08/2019 19:38

Love them.

I really like them

RavenLG · 28/08/2019 15:58

I really like them. I love shoes like this but I just have crap shaped feet so they always hurt.

CountFosco · 28/08/2019 17:17

Like the chunky soles but not so keen on the uppers although I think that's partly because of the pointy toe. Like the leopard print ones though.

goose1964 · 28/08/2019 20:05

I like the different textures but they're too pointy.

Palaver1 · 29/08/2019 07:13

Think there nice .I have a very similar pair and they are just extremely comfortable

DottieLottie1 · 29/08/2019 17:43

Sorry, I think they're awful but then I dislike brogues. Obviously every other poster thinks the opposite Blush

Bluntness100 · 29/08/2019 17:47

I got my daughter a similar pair. I couldn't get away with them, she's 22 and she wears them for work, with tailored cigarette ankle length trousers and they look great, but she is tall at five nine.

dudsville · 29/08/2019 18:13

I'm not keen on the shoes, but my feet suit/like a pointy toe and I like that about these.

gwilt · 29/08/2019 18:19

Nice style but I find them a bit pointy.

I live in brogues and love Dune.

Maybe something like this?

www.dunelondon.com/fion-lace-up-leather-brogue-0077506690011586/

Dune Fion. Also come in Wider Fit. Expensive but comfy and stylish.

FlyMayBe · 29/08/2019 18:27

I love those, OP Smile

Runningonempty84 · 29/08/2019 18:49

Sorry, I think they're hideous. They're not on the cool side of geeky - which many brogues are - they're just frumpy and hideous. My gran would dismiss them as fugly and she's 98...

Ellapaella · 29/08/2019 19:42

I really like them

Orchidflower1 · 29/08/2019 19:44

Sorry they are horrible. Clunky and school shoey circa 1991.

fairislecable · 29/08/2019 19:50

I love these in Russel & Bromley the sole and heel are so smart with clean lines.
