Arghhhh I’ve got completely fed up of skinny jeans, my thighs are too big and my knees.
But there’s not a lot of choice atm out there.
Help?!?
I’m 5ft 5in and a 14 on top , with anywhere between a 16-18 jean size.TBh I normally buy them from Tesco’s!!

Me too. Recent convert to skirts and dresses.
It took some overthinking for a week or two but now im in the flow of it:)

We probably have a different body shape but i like either mini skirts or long. I wear with chelsea boots and docs, etc. I like to keep the line fluid and slightly loose, but not baggy.

What is interesting is that LITERALLY all clothing is designed to go with skinnies. Tops are too long for skirts and even coats/jackets are designed to work with them. It is difficult to kit yourself out, but after the initial quandary it is worth it!

They are ubiquitous, everywhere, safe.. everything goes with the,, especially in a uk winter. But there is a way put, trust me.

And it might be just me, but all jeans are the same.
Switching from skinny to loose makes no difference, they are all the same look, and wider legs impractical in wet weather. They still pinch and restrict whether mum jeans, bootcut or boyfriend.

I think it is hard to transition out of denim because most stores cater for them, so your other garments are designed to go with them, but it is fairly easy to do if you are determined.

I found that many of my tops went well with short a-line skirts, and i have managed to match ,y coats and boots to wearing long length skirts and thicker dresses in winter without looking like a 90’s throwback. The trick is a fluid, contemporary silhouette and a minimal approach to accessories .

We are used to hearing that not wearing jeans is fussy or over-dressed.
You can do casual with them, it is absolute bullshit.
