I like it!

simplekindoflife · 13/08/2019 21:48

I'm not sure... it looks quite matronly and fussy. I think you'd need some very trendy shoes/boots with it to avoid looking mumsy.

ShirleyPhallus · 13/08/2019 21:48

32E really isn’t “big boobs”!

sofato5miles · 13/08/2019 22:08

An E cup is 20cm larger than her frame. That is a bust by anyone's standards surely?

Letthemysterybe · 13/08/2019 22:17

I think it looks like somebody with no sewing skills has tried to turn a midi skirt into a mini dress.

socksforfox · 13/08/2019 22:24

*I think with your bust it will be a comedy show.

Sorry*

Why bother to type the 'sorry' Hmm

I really don't have comedy boobs, thank you very much.

I'm a 30E/F, I wouldn't describe myself as busty...

I've taken it upon myself to defend your boobs. People never believe I'm an E/F because it sounds big but...they're really not that impressive!

HearMeSnore · 13/08/2019 22:44

I used to have a jumper in Elastoplast pink. It absolutely must never be worn by someone with pale, pink-toned skin, like me. I looked like a raw sausage.

It can look good on dark or olive-toned skin. But it's a tough one to pull off.

Screamqueenz · 13/08/2019 22:50

With an E cup this dress will hang from your boobs, it will add weight we're there is none.
It would be stunning on someone less well endowed, (I love it on the model)

Veterinari · 13/08/2019 23:01

It's the colour of meat paste and the high neck + pleats will make anyone with boobs look like Bella Emberg cosplaying as a standard lamp.

^This^

StCharlotte · 13/08/2019 23:02

Unconvinced about the dress but I am very convinced it should not be worn with those boots. It looks like when I walk the dog down the garden first or last thing in my nightie and wellies.

Atalune · 13/08/2019 23:07

Oh I’m not sorry I said it.

I’m sorry that it will be so unflattering across your bust and you will have wasted time and £ on something like that.

Those pleats are designed for the flat chested. IMHO.

Atalune · 13/08/2019 23:09

The high neck and fall of the pleats will add kilos to your petite frame.

However, this may be a look that you love.

It would be boring if we all looked the same.

SleightOfMind · 13/08/2019 23:09

Fine if you’re peary, with slim limbs.
Not so good if you’re an apple with boobage.

pictish · 13/08/2019 23:51

Whoever said it is the colour of meat paste was spot on.

ACPC · 14/08/2019 00:03

I bought a dress very similar and loved it but from a distance resembled one of those poor people shut in their house by obedity and extra skin. I didn't realise this until I'd wore it EVERYWHERE.

RockinHippy · 14/08/2019 00:19

You sound a similar size & shape to me. I'm older so wouldn't wear it anyway, especially not in that colour. But even if I wanted to wear it, that shape of dress would not work on my shape, so I doubt it will work on yours. Especially not at that pricey where it's likely to be in a cheap cloth & wont be a well cut fit. The front is likely to lift & make you look wider for starters. Sorry

AquaPris · 14/08/2019 00:24

Horrendous. Like Hyacinth Buckets cardigan but shiny and sac shaped

AquaPris · 14/08/2019 00:25

Or maybe it's Dolores Umbridges cardigan - can't remember

ACPC · 14/08/2019 00:25

Maybe an extra long skinny belt you could crisscross around your middle would stop the billowing issue I had with mine? And yy to some really cool boots to toughen it up.

WoahThereMama · 14/08/2019 08:49

It’s worth a try on. It looks like it may be quite static-y though so try with tights too if that’s how you plan on wearing it in winter to make sure dress doesn’t cling to them when walking.

dontgobaconmyheart · 14/08/2019 13:48

I'm not a fan OP, unfortunately- it's a tricky cut, especially at the back and the bust, the fabric looks thin and like it would show a bra underneath and I also think it looks uncomfortable, elastic wrist sleeves and a tight neck are things I find so annoying to wear. The colour is also going to be hard to pull of for most colourings IMO.

Can second/third/whatever we are on the 32E/F comments though, I'm a 32F and they're nothing approaching pendulous in any way, quite modest really BUT in fairness I do think mine wouldn't suit this style of dress, high neck always makes my boobs look lower than they are somehow.

If you like it get it and try it OP! Sometimes these things need to be tried and got out the system either way don't they!

CheckingOutTheQuantocks · 14/08/2019 14:18

At your height and weight, I'm guessing you're about a size 8? I think you'll probably pull it off fine shape-wise, but the colour might not be great if you're pale and fair-haired like the model. I think that's why it's not working on her - that, and the fact she can't bloody stand up straight! Look at her awful hunched posture in the sideways view...

Agree that 32E isn't ginormous knocker territory. 20cm more than your band size doesn't mean they stick out 20cm away from your body.

Palaver1 · 14/08/2019 14:40

I REALLY hope you get and see for yourself.
I don’t think it’s that bad
