Holiday wardrobe for Fuerteventura in February?!

What should i be wearing in the last week of February in the Canaries? I haven't been on a "sunny holiday" in nearly 5 years! I dont wear shorts. Maxi-dresses? Where can i get nice ones?

Basically im going on a cheap and cheerful all-inclusive holiday with my BF, and i want to look nice, and a bit glamorous. Im short and fat (16-18), which adds an extra challenge to the glamorous thing! Anyone know what the weather is likely to be? I know it wont be scorching hot, but will i get to swim?

I was thinking of risking a bikini (ive never owned one), because im now too old to care, and there seem to be some gorgeous ones around at the moment.

Not sure about where to buy nice maxi dresses - maybe Debenhams? Thought I'd reply though cause I went the first week of March last year. It was lovely and sunny but as you say, not hot hot. I think it was maybe swimming (I.e.bikini) weather twice. People did sunbathe but they had big towels around them when it got too cold. It was easily t -shirt and shorts, maybe with a cardigan weather every day though so you'd be fine in Maxi dresses during the day. It's a very windy island so the evenings aren't warm. I had early nights cause of dd so was fine in jeans, top and cardigan for early evening dinners but I did see some people going out in the evenings in padded jacket type things so definitely take something warm to wear in the evenings. Hope you have a great holiday!

YY to cooler in the winter, it's not hot once the sun goes down or even remotely warm!

I’ve been to lanzarote & Tenerife plenty of times in Feb. It can range anything from 16-30 degrees (more like 27 this year in Tenerife). If it’s 16 and cloudy it might be cool. Pack for all eventualities!
The pool might be cold but a lot of hotels have them heated in winter which makes a big difference. If you are going to Teguise it’s lovely but well known for being windy! In Teguise I had a fleece jacket & scarf for walking at night, but it can be sunbathing weather during the day too!

Scrap what i said about Teguise - just seen you’ve said Fuertaventura! I do believe it’s also windy there too though!

Just come back from there in June and it was freezing at night I had to buy a coat/cardigan. also so very windy, could not sit on the beach.
