Tell me about your "hideous" clothes that you absolutely adore

Just that really. I have a few pieces that I love and think are fabulous that, either by the standards of fashion or the standards of people i know, are awful. Usually these pieces tend to be gifted to me or are vintage type stuff that I find at flea markets. Mine are

Green velvet high-trousers with gold glitter threaded through them (i know but honestly I put these on and I feel brilliant). They are proper "man repeller" trousers
Tight leather combat trousers (I tend to wear with chunky jumpers in winter)
A bright red, handmade knee-length wrap skirt with gigantic front pockets
A grey wool cape
A baggy, outside midi length Burberry Trench (eBay, 80 quid, had it tailored but it's still baggy!)
Super wide-leg powder blue vintage 1970s Ozzy Clark trousers

What are yours?

I have a cosy burgundy coloured fleece which I wear every evening instead of a dressing gown (with trousers obviously!). It’s the ugliest thing ever but so amazingly snuggly, I luff it 💕

I have a black and red high low hem dress with a flounce to the hem and a waist length split (I modified that to thigh length though, because modesty)
It's ridiculous and I fucking love it.

I have some enormous baggy black harem pants I got when I was pregnant. They’re so big they come up to my boobs and I can fit myself in one leg xD they’re the comfiest things I’ve ever worn but I can’t leave the house in them!

Everyone has a pair of house trousers, surely?
Things do hideous you cannot wear in public but oh, so comfy!

I have jersey pants I bought for post birth. Two sizes too but but i still slob about in them with a hoody.

Shit wear it with white trainers. Love it.

Yes to white trainers. I've worn mine with Stan Smiths and a denim jacket, as well as for work with a black jersey jacket.

I have a colourful knitted poncho with what looks like Inca symbols all over it. It really is ugly, but it's the ultimate comforter. There's nothing you can pair it with to make it OK.

These shoes are not only terribly unflattering, but ridiculously uncomfortable as well. I absolutely adore them though!
