Look at these gems

I like these type of jeans and own very similar. I'm very pear shaped so they hide my chunky legs while emphasising tiny waist. Also very comfortable and easy to move around in, they don't cut off circulation when playing down on the floor with baby/toddler.

I’ve got a version of that style from Whistles - ‘barrel leg’. Very comfortable and they look fine when on.

Ooh no. They would just make me look wider pretty much all the way down. Not for me.

I'm with you jalopy but am heading for 60 so that's my excuse. These jeans are able to make the legs look both wide and bandy at the same time.

I clicked the link expecting to see the usual see-through pvc skirt/ trousers with bum cheeks cut away, so was pleasantly surprised!

I have three pairs of the Whistles barrel leg jeans - they are so flattering on my shape. High waist, peg-leg - I’m a hippy size 10 with a small waist, so they are great for tucking things into.

I really like them. So bored of skinny jeans, I love the barrel leg look. Look great with trainers or even sandals in warmer weather.

They also look great with DM boots in winter, plus brogues with glittery socks when it’s too cold for a gap!

They look like something that a leather-skinned old man who dreams of being a cowboy might wear. Not a fan.

ella I am a 10 in most places, and mine are a 27, so unless they’ve changed them - mine are from last year - I would say they come up big. However I ordered the cord ones and had a feeling they might come up smaller. I needed the 28 in those (but didn’t like them anyway). I have the black, light blue, and navy in the jeans. If you look on ASoS they have some there and frequent discounts. (There are pics on my insta of them on if you scroll back a bit.)

They are almost like those rave jeans we used to wear in the 90's.

The Whistles ones definitely look nicer, and far less 'home on the range'.
