I have long and thick hair. Will this cut down the drying time? Has anyone had one for more than a year?

Mine is long but normal not thick or thin if that makes sense.
Yes it dries hair quickly and leaves it looking smooth and healthy. I had mine for a year and half still very pleased with it (when I can find it that is, DD keeps using it without putting it back!)
No noticeable hair damage during this time. I use it once or twice a week max, some weeks I don’t use it at all.
I wish mine didn’t have the stupid pink detail.

I have ridiculously thick hair and would definitely recommend a parlux drier, cut my drying time in half.

I have long thick hair and have had a dyson since they were released. Wouldn't be without it. My gym has Ghd dryers which I know aren't cheap either and they're crap in comparison. I can pretty much dry my hair in just over 5 mins now, worth every penny
