Just that really, I have lots of very dry hair, not sure if it's all the same formula or you can get clarifying shampoo for dry hair etc but I don't want to spend a fortune.

It’s not bargain basement but it’s not too outrageous either, especially as a little goes a long way. Avalon Organics Lemon Clarifying Shampoo, £6.99 from Holland and Barrett. Clarifying shampoo do tend to be less moisturising. I did find the matching conditioner compensated though (and both smelled like lemon meringue pie).

Aussie shampoo is really good ! They have a 3 minute miracle repair conditioner and it's fab !

Tresemme Deep Cleansing.

Tresemme isn’t as good as it used to be, it doesn’t work for me. I’m using a cheap supermarket shampoo and it’s working so well.

Thanks, I'm wondering if I should just use washing up liquid!! I have a build up of silicone on my hair so my plan is to get rid of that and then use a very deep moisture mask to put moisture back in.

Johnson's baby shampoo or top to toe wash will do the job. I use it regularly to get rid of the conditioner/product build up from doing the curly girl method. I really like the Aussie one too as it lathers more.

Great thank you Smile

@Shitonthebloodything That's really interesting because I occasionally use my dc's head to toe wash on my hair when it's the nearest thing to hand and I had noticed that my hair is in good condition lately - I wouldn't have put it down to that but I guess it's good for our hair to keep it simple???
