Has anyone taken these and found an actual noticeable improvement? I've been taking Biotin for nearly a year but don't really think it's had any effect.

I have been taking Biotin for a few months plus other vitamins ,and my hair is or seems to be growing overnight,
I should say the hair that i have got left,i am suffering with hair loss, and bought the biotin for this, safdly it doesn't seem to have worked for that, but as i said the rest of my hair is growing so fast
I am also taking , zinc, VitB12, Spatone iron water, etc
I would keep on with the Biotin , but have a high dosage, like 1000mg a day

@princessTiasmum thank you! I will persevere and add your extra supplements.

I take collagen powder every day in juice and my nails and hair have never grown so quickly!

DisgruntledGuineaPig · 11/08/2019 18:52

Ooh, might try these...

I have been taking a general multivitamin, and no difference with hair or nails, but my skin is so much better.

I have to say, my nails were terrible before always splitting and breaking off ,but now i can't even bend them ,very strong

I take this and just mix it with a smoothie or fresh juice each morning.

Take pregnancy vitamins. Seriously! Asda have an own brand that are reasonably priced.
I took them during my pregnancy, and I’m still taking them nearly two years on (partly because I’m still breastfeeding) but my hair has grown really fast in that time.

pregnancy vitamins (and being pregnant) have really thickened my already too thick hair up. but it means more hair everywhere and my previously smooth IPL'd facial skin now needs topping up more often 🙄

Have a look at Trinny’s blog, she often mentions her hair supplements and seems pleased with the results. She takes quite a few things.
Are you using a coil? That might be a cause for hair loss if that is an issue for you.
Are you looking to grow your hair longer or are you concerned about thinning hair or hair loss?
