Hush harem - sizing?

These have been recommended to me for travel so I'm going to try a pair..I am a 14 (sometimes 16) with a bigger bum and smaller waist - should I go L or XL?
Also I usually prefer a higher waist and am a bit worried about the fold over waist - it's not too low is it?

I love mine. I have 3 now. I am a size 10-12 with a protruding c section mumtum and got medium. They are so comfortable it's amazing. The fold can sit wherever you want it to really. I put it below my belly with a baggy top or higher up and French tuck a vest type top. They're very forgiving so perhaps order two sizes and have a play?

You will absolutely not need the XL. I'm a solid 16 and the XL is way too big. I have 3 pairs in L and even those are on the looser side. The waist band is versatile and can be worn high or folded back. So very comfortable, I love mine.

Thanks Era, have ordered via John Lewis. went for L as i took my measurements as per their size guide and apparently I am verging on an XL so lets see how they fit!

Im a 12-14 and have medium.

I've got the cropped ones in a medium. Am, a 12/14 and they are too big really - definitely size down.

@Isthebigwomanhere I really think that you can get away with the XL. They loosen up a little upon wearing.

I’m a 14/16, medium fits me perfectly.
