Struggling to find a decent toner for my skin. Don’t want to spend lots of money but want something decent.
I have combination skin & prone to breakouts occasionally.

the ordinary glycolic 👌

This one. My skin has never been clearer.

What toner do you use?

I use the Sanctuary Spa 5 Glycolic Acid toner, I used to use the Pixi Glow Tonic and I cannot tell a difference and the Sanctuary Spa one is cheaper

optimisticpessimist01 · 09/08/2019 23:05

Although PP's Superdrug one is even cheaper- going to look for that on my next trip to Superdrug!

Just shows how much mark up these "miracle" products like Pixi add to their products for pure profit

I have combination skin too OP and I find using products with niacinamide in is what makes the most difference to my routine. The Ordinary have a solution with Zinc which is really good, and I recently bought a Sephora pomegranate face mask just because it had it in and just 15 minutes of that made a difference to my face too

I use Clinique clarifying lotion and have done for 30 years. Love it

TheRLodger · 09/08/2019 23:07

I use this one www.thebodyshop.com/face/cleansers-toners/vitamin-e-hydrating-toner/p/p000148 but if you ask the stuff they might suggest a better one for your skin type.

Using the aldi dupe of pixi glow just now, my first go with a glycolic one and my skins is noticeably clearer. Would definitely buy another.

Soola · 09/08/2019 23:30

The rose one ^

Thatnovembernight · 09/08/2019 23:36

The basic one from Simple. I have similar skin to you are it works really well for me.

Anois · 09/08/2019 23:39

I second the Aldi Pixi dupe, they also do a retinol one which I haven't tried yet.

Tinks15 · 10/08/2019 19:56

Thanks everyone, don’t want anything too drying.

Do a lot of people rate ‘the ordinary’ now? I’ve seen lots of threads on it & seen lots of good reviews.

Another vote for Aldi’s pixi dupe

ZazieTheCat · 10/08/2019 23:22

Pixi Retinol Tonic at night
Beauty Kitchen Seahorse Plankton Mist or Aqua Oleum Rose Water for day
