Wedding guest makeup

Hi! My sister is getting married at the end of the month and her, myself and a lot of the other guests are really into their makeup. It's quite a glam wedding and I am stuck about a few things...

1. What look should I go for that isn't too intense but more soft glam (eyeshadow/lip colour recommendations really)

1. Does anyone have any recommendations/tips for products that are long lasting? The makeup is going to be on for 12 hours so it needs to stick but not be cakey or start to erode on my face

I don't mind getting more a few high end staple products but most of them will high street

I am not great at make up but just wanted to recommend Urban Decay All Nighter fixing spray. It really does make your make up stay put. I leave for work at 7 am, not back home until 6pm and I am amazed my make up is still there without touch ups - lippie gone but all the rest intact.

They do a smaller travel size (which has lasted a long time) if you don't want to buy the bigger size.)
