For a nearly-walking 13 month old. There is so much choice so any recommendations would be so appreciated.

i would personally go for ones from startrite. they have a good choice and were highly recommended to me from a number of people when i had my twins. i really liked them as 1st shoes for them too

Would you say pre-walkers are best to start with? Or is that an unnecessary first step? Excuse the pun!

Clarks, try a few pairs on as some are heavier than others.

pre walkers i think are for crawling etc, and are good for inside, but for outside i would go straight for first walkers

Ok, in that case I'm going to go for proper shoes because she's happy barefoot inside. She also hates anything on her feet so I'll be looking for something lightweight...shoe shopping is going to be fun Hmm

I’d opt for something bendy, op. Nothing too rigid for little feet. My test is being able to bend the sole to make a ‘C’ shape. Bobux and other barefoot brands are good for this. Personally not had much joy with Clarkes or Startrite.

Fab, I'll take a look. Thank you
