Anti histamine creams

I have been to the dr's but they are not much interested and just say to get an over the counter jobbie.

I am not sure if it is insect bites or an actual allergy (thinking it might be more an allergy) I get bright red spots on my arms and legs that really itch but then are sore. Most antihistamines are small tubes about 25-30g each. I suppose one has to be careful but is there not a lotion in a bigget tube or bottle?

At the moment I apply Sudocrem which helps a bit and take an anti histimine pill.

Any advice?

Try a different GP. It sounds as though they’ve been a bit dismissive. If you’ve done the usual thing of checking what washing detergent you use, possibly keep a food diary and whatever triggers you’ve noticed then you would have some more information to give them. Have they ruled out any other issues like thyroid problems, liver problems etc?
I’ve only ever seen the small tubes of the antihistamine creams, too.
Good luck!
